Ark Regional Services - General Operations
Ark Regional Services has facilitated opportunities for individuals to live, learn, work and play in the Laramie community since 1963.
Ark provides over 4,500 hours of direct support per week for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We assist people 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We support people in their homes, in their community, at work, and in all aspects of their lives. In order to provide these important services, we employ over 170 people. Operating residential group homes is costly, and, maintaining accessible and innovative day support environments is also financially challenging. Our highest priority is providing our outstanding employees with competitive wages and good benefits. Unfortunately, our primary funding source, Wyoming Medicaid, does not fully cover the cost of providing services.
By supporting Ark’s general operations, you are helping to ensure that staff receive fair compensation and benefits for the important work they perform, and the organization is able to fulfill it’s mission.
The Cooper Center for Creative Arts
The Cooper Center for Creative Arts offers a variety of classes in visual and performing arts, music, and literacy. By working alongside trained professionals, students have the opportunity to develop technical skills in the arts while developing their creativity. Through our program at the Cooper Center, we are changing art, changing minds, and changing lives.
Donations to the Cooper Center will help cover the expenses associated with general operations, maintenance of the facility, and costs associated with acquiring art supplies and live performances. Donations help ensure that all students, regardless of ability, can experience the arts without boundaries and without limits.
The Equestrian Center at Ark Regional Services
Ark Regional Services operates a 10,000 square foot, heated, and fully accessible indoor riding arena that houses many trained therapy horses. Working with professionals and utilizing equine assisted activities and therapies, Ark provides basic stable management classes, therapeutic riding, and Equine Assisted Learning.
Donations to the Equestrian Center will help cover the expenses associated with general operations, costs associated with the feed and care of each horse, and maintenance of the facility. Donations help ensure that each of our horses has everything they need to stay healthy and happy.
Memorial Donations
Memorial donations are a wonderful way to honor and remember the deceased. You can honor a friend or a loved one by making a contribution to the Ark Regional Services in their name. This is a thoughtful way to pay tribute to someone in your life while also supporting Ark.
All memorial donations will be recognized on the Memorial plaques located in the lobby of our Headquarters building.

Gifts come in many shapes and sizes. At Ark Regional Services we will graciously accept any gift that supports our vision and mission.
