Employee Benefits

 

Ark employees enjoy an array of benefits. These benefits are subject to change.

 

Medical Insurance

Employees who are regularly scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more are eligible for Ark’s comprehensive medical Insurance coverage through Cigna, beginning the 1st day of the 3rd month of employment.

 

  • Spousal and family coverage is also available, but must be paid by the employee.

  • Open enrollment is December 1 through December 31 for a January 1 start date.

  • Low deductible

  • Free telehealth

  • Free mental health services

  • Affordable Rx plan

  • On July, 1, 2022, plans and issuers are required to disclose in-network provider negotiated rates and historical out-of-network allowed amounts through two machine readable files. These files must be posted on a public internet website, thereby allowing the public to “have access to health coverage information that can be used to understand health care pricing and potentially dampen the rise in health care spending”. 

  • LIVE WEBSITE LINK (https://www.cigna.com/legal/compliance/machine-readable-files) – This is the live website link that will house these Machine Readable Files (MRF). Cigna will update this webpage monthly to ensure ongoing compliance.

 

Dental Insurance

Employees who are regularly scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more are eligible for Ark’s dental insurance coverage through Delta Dental of Wyoming, beginning the 1st day of the 3rd month of employment.

 

  • Ark pays 50% of the insurance premium for the employee.

  • Spousal and family coverage is also available, but must be paid by the employee.

  • Open enrollment is December 1 through December 31 for a January 1 start date.

 

Wyoming Retirement Pension Plan

Employees who are regularly scheduled to work 25 or more hours per week are required to participate in the Wyoming Retirement Pension Plan. Employees become vested in the plan after 4 years of participation in the plan.

 

  • Ark pays 10.05% of the employee salary into the account each month.

  • The employee’s portion (8.57% of their salary) is paid on a pre-tax basis.

  • Employee contributions belong to the employee and may be withdrawn (fees and penalties may apply) when your employment with Ark Regional Services ends.

 

Personal Leave

All Ark employees earn paid time off, referred to as Personal Leave.

 

  • Full-time employees earn leave according to an established schedule based on the number of years they’ve been employed.

  • Part-time employees earn 8 hours of leave for every 160 hours they work.
